Pumping services
Pump-ex IBC service is available
Drum pumping services are not offered due to safety reasons.
IBC pumping and removal of the empty containers are services that can be provided.
Restrictions & Requirements
Customs papers are processed before the delivery. Requests for cancellations and amendments can no longer be done when the lubes have been loaded or when the truck is already in transit.
Deliveries are made via truck only. If a barge is needed, customer needs to instruct their agents to arrange the service.
Indirect exports and delivery to agents are not allowed in Brazil.
Returns are not allowed in Brazil. Due to customs implications, the law and systems do not allow us to take the products back, whether Shell fault or not. This would be considered an importation.
Deliveries to non-listed ports are not possible due to local taxes and customs issues.
Imported grades come from Europe and Houston. Supply replenishment takes 10 to 25 days. This is usually done via waterways by container vessels. Additional 1 to 2 weeks are required for customs clearance.
Omala S2 G680 and Spirax S3 AX 80 W_90 are tagged as small pack but in reality they are jerrycan of 20L (equivalent of a pail)
Please consult operational notes of individual’s ports to check respective restrictions and requirements.
