Operational conditions
2) For IBC to be confirmed, regardless the order input, local agent must confirm ETA, ETB and terminal restrictions due to: • Ports that do not allow lub oil delivery; • Ports that do not allow pumping service via truck. When a barge is required, depending on port restrictions this must be managed between customer and local Agent themselves. Shell Brazil does not offer barge delivery services either for bulk or packed. In addition, pumping via barge, crane and stowage may also be required, depending on port restrictions, this must be managed between customer and local Agent themselves. Shell Brazil does not offer these delivery services.

Other Info:
In Brazil, at Rio de Janeiro port, there are several terminals. The terminal where cruisers berth is called ‘Pier Maua’ (This is a passenger’s terminal).
Due to a new legal requirement, all companies that require access in order to provide supplies for the operating vessels there must have a letter from the customer stating that the supplier is allowed to enter under their requisition to supply their vessels. None of our contractors (customs brokers, hauliers, etc) are allowed to enter until this documentation for access enrollment from the customer is provided assigning Shell as the lubricant provider for the cruiser vessel line calling this terminal.
PORT RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Cruise Line Customers will have to advise their Agents to take care of these requirements when lifting in Rio and berthing at the passengers terminal of “Pier Maua” .
