Operational Notes
  1. ADVISORY
    • During these current extraordinary times, our Working Days' Notice will be on best endeavour basis.
  2. EXTENDED LEAD TIMES
    • Gadinia S3 Bulk: subject to enquiry with10 working days' notice.
    • Alexia 140 Bulk: subject to enquiry with 10 working days' notice.
    • Argina S2 30 & Argina S2 40 in Bulk: subject to enquiry with 10 working days' notice.
  3. LUBEANALYST (LA) SAMPLE KITS
    • A maximum of 2 RLA kits per order can be supplied.
    • LA sample kits are available for delivery with your lubricants order in key locations. Sample kits can also be ordered as a stand-alone item – shipping fee may be applicable in some cases. A minimum of 5 working days’ notice is required for all orders.
  4. MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY
    • Bulk: 2000 liters subject to small order surcharge.
  5. PUMPING SERVICES
    • Drum pumping is not permitted in Hong Kong in accordance with HSSE policy due to leakage risk. Drums and pails will be delivered directly on deck.
    • IBC products are being pumped.
  6. RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
    • Urgent orders received during Hong Kong public holidays: Packed products: Not supported. Bulk products: Supply may be possible only for the following 11 grades carried on the barge: Argina S3 30, Argina S3 40, Argina S4 40, Argina S2 30, Argina S2 40, Alexia 40, Alexia 40XC, Alexia 70, Alexia 100, Alexia 140, Melina S30.
    • Delivery to agent: permitted only if bulk orders are converted to packed (drums/pails). Shell may deliver the lubricants by truck to the customer’s appointed location, and the agent is required to sign the DN/POD.
    • Delivery is by barge only at all ports. Truck delivery is not available.
  7. THE FOLLOWING SURCHARGES MAY APPLY AND ITS AMOUNT IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE FROM TIME TO TIME:
    • Barge Fee
    • Cancellation and Return Fee
    • Demurrage
    • Overtime Fee (Delivery after office hours, weekends and public holidays).
    • Small Order Surcharge (SOS) will be applicable on bulk orders below 4,000 liters and/or packed below 800 liters.
