Shell Marine Products (SMP) can serve your requirements for delivery of products in Mauritius through our Distributor Vivo Energy. Do note however that this will not be processed under your current global agreement with SMP and you will need to have a direct agreement with Vivo Energy on prices and terms & conditions for delivery. You may refer to the below contact details for your future requirement. For any concerns or further questions, feel free to contact your Account Manager.
Given below is some useful information provided to us by our Distributor Vivo Energy 1) Delivery to be on the wharf of Port Louis. 2) Need at least 72 hours of advance notice for customs paper works for delivery. 3) Prior to delivery, a customs bill (cost inclusive in price) needs to be issued for approval by the Customs Authority. For this purpose, the flag of the vessel will need to be communicated. 4) If ship is at anchorage, the vessels agent to arrange for transfer of drums on board the ship. Any extra charges incurred by vessels agent for doing so will be borne by the customer 5)An agent must be appointed to process all formalities with the local authorities, e.g. Customs, Mauritius Port Authority, Health, etc., when ship is calling Port Louis whether inside port limit at anchorage or inside the port at berth.
