Operational Notes
  1. DISCLAIMER
    • Kindly take note that delivery will be carried out as per latest advice on vessel’s ETA/ETD. Any changes made after order is confirmed, will be subject to a new confirmation.
  2. EXTENDED LEAD TIMES
    • 6 working days is required from date vessel is berthed for BULK orders to blend bulk products and guarantee supply
  3. MINIMUM ORDER QUANTITY
    • Bulk – 8000 litres per grade
    • Suez port: IBC pumping is 6000 liters (6 IBC).
    • Packed product – MOQ is 1 Pallet. *1 pallet has 4 drums or minimum of 12 pails
  4. RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
    • Supply Chain is responsible to deliver the product at quay, from there vessel/agent has to take it forward for delivery arrangements. hence after delivery agent would need to sign the POD and responsibility to deliver the products to vessel would be passed on to agents.
    • Deliveries to Sokhna Port: Supplies can be done to local vessels without customs clearance, but vessel must be working locally, and her flag is Egyptian flag; similarly, can arrange delivery of packed products to vessel agent, and agent to arrange barge service and receive products at Suez then deliver to vessel at Sokhna.
    • Direct supply to Port Adabiyah currently not supported, and any such requirements, option is to supply through Suez port and customer to arrange barge service with their agent
    • Barge deliveries of packed product at the anchorage can be arranged through local agent Multiforce. Transaction will be between customer & Multiforce. Customer to send email confirmation to Shell Customer Operations team to advise that they agree for Multiforce to sign the POD on their behalf.     • Supply to container terminals in Egypt is temporary suspended.
    • Shell vetted barge is not available in this Country. Delivery by barge can be coordinated/arranged through customer's appointed agent. Similarly, any special requirements for delivery to be confirmed and agreed prior.
  5. THE FOLLOWING SURCHARGES MAY APPLY AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE FROM TIME TO TIME:
    • Cancellation and Return Fee
    • Demurrage
    • Freight
    • Overtime Fee (Delivery after office hours, weekends and public holidays).
    • Pumping Fee
    • MOQ Fee
